You can get £400 as part of the Energy Bills Support Scheme. Households will receive £66 in October and November, and £67 in December, January, February, and March. For more details, check out our blog, or head to the government’s website. If you have not received the payment, contact your electricity supplier.

If you’re using a traditional prepayment meter, you may be missing out on the £400 energy bill discount. Electricity suppliers will be sending a voucher code from the first week of each month via SMS text, email or post. You will need to take action to redeem the vouchers at your usual top-up point, like the nearest local PayPoint or Post Office branch. You can get £150 as part of the Warm Home Discount Payment. This year the scheme has changed. It will depend on your electricity supplier being a part of the scheme, your household income and how energy efficient your property is. You should have received a letter from the DWP advising if you are eligible. Visit the government’s website for more details.

Eligible households will receive up to £1,350 as part of the Cost of Living Support Scheme for 2023/24. Visit the government’s website for more information.
