Reporting to the Enterprise Manager, you’ll reduce fly-tipping and excess household waste in the communal areas of our high-rise and low-rise dwellings, ensuring that bins are fit for collection by local authorities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Attending properties and managing excess waste in communal areas.
  • Ensuring non-general household waste is contained and reported in line with procedure.
  • Recording information of items too big or heavy to move.
  • Ensuring waste is compacted safely by operatives.
  • Following health and safety procedures, including wearing provided PPE and reporting any issues with PPE.
  • Removing excess waste from the floor or bin areas, including bin-bags and small items.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with tenants, the general public, and other stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent communications and teamworking skills.
  • Experience in a social housing environment would be ideal.
  • A full driving licence to use company vehicles.
  • Good geographical knowledge of Salford and the surrounding areas would be beneficial.
