Working together to prevent homelessness – Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme

Having a safe, secure home to call your own and being part of a community is vital.

The Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme has provided dozens of new homes for people at risk of becoming homeless.

Using funding delivered through Salford City Council, ForHousing is in the process of creating 24 fully furnished homes available at a low-cost social rent to people who may otherwise end up sleeping rough. Two more schemes in Eccles and Swinton are also in the pipeline, while in Knowsley a further seven one-bedroom flats are due to be completed in March 2023.

The scheme has helped people like Danny to have a home to call his own and become part of a community again.
