As part of our Asset Management team within our Housing Management Contract, you’ll manage our responsive and void repairs services, including holding responsibility for policy and procedure, quality control, and financial control.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring repair and void works are delivered to client and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing a team of Repairs and Voids Inspectors to deliver planned works in relation to the capital investment programme and associated works.
  • Forecasting, controlling, and reporting on spending.
  • Meeting obligations in relation to damp and disrepair.
  • Supporting the Finance Business Partner and providing monthly and ad-hoc management information.
  • All aspects of managing repairs and maintenance colleagues.
  • Carrying out surveys, preparing budget estimates, specifications, schedules and bills of quantities.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Have or be working towards a HNC or HND in Building or Building Surveying, or have equivalent experience.
  • A degree in Building Surveying or similar would be ideal.
  • Extensive knowledge of building maintenance and repair issues.
