ForHousing is a social purpose business that positively impacts communities by reinvesting profits, building vibrant and safe communities. We know that together we achieve more so we work with a range of like-minded partners to deliver positive change in communities and improve lives

This is an exciting, newly funded role, to ensure that people sleeping rough can access local systems.

You’ll coordinate support services, work with stakeholders and provide support, encouragement and advocacy to enable clients to navigate support and accommodation pathways in order to move away from living on the streets.

Giving people that are sleeping rough a single point of continued contact and support, right through to resettlement support, you’ll use psychologically informed techniques, offer personalised, creative, innovative and effective support, building trust.

To be successful in this role, you’d hold NVQ Level 2/3 in Social Care or equivalent, hold a coaching qualification with safeguarding knowledge.  With the ability to deliver coaching to customers, ideally within a similar setting, you’ll be up to date with homelessness legislation and practice with an understanding of the supported required and issues facing our customers.

You must hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

You will receive a competitive remuneration and generous benefits package, with the opportunity to choose additional flexible benefits including additional holiday and levels of healthcare. The roles are agile which means you have choice over where you work, whether that be in one of our collaboration spaces, in the community, a coffee shop or at home. This flexibility gives you the space to focus on balancing your work, your wellbeing and home life, as well as having a positive impact on the environment by travelling less. We welcome discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and ForHousing.
