Forfutures is a service which delivers the homeless support service in Cheshire West and Chester in partnership with the Council. Forfutures is supporting those who are at risk of being homeless, those without secure accommodation and people sleeping rough. The forfutures team are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Night Support Worker, based in Northwich.

 

You work alongside customers living in supported accommodation, providing on site assurance and reactive support. You will be part of a team who are responsible for the management of scheme sites during evenings and overnight, remaining alert to safety and security.  As well as providing support to the customers you will support the housing management to achieve void turn-rounds timescales including cleaning and preparing of accommodation

 

Ideally Candidates will have undertaken relevant training relating to safeguarding and homelessness legislation and practice and will have experience of providing care and/or support services within a social care setting (supported housing, care, nursing, residential). Experience of working with vulnerable adults, an understanding of the support needs and the issues facing our customers and a full UK driving licence would be beneficial for this role.
