As part of our Neighbourhoods team, you’ll provide an effective service across a defined neighbourhood, developing and improving those services. You’ll deal with all aspects of letting properties, assist with community initiatives, develop local communications, and ensure any issues which arise in the neighbourhood are resolved.

What you’ll be doing:
- Providing high quality, customer focussed housing and neighbourhood services effectively, consistently, pro-actively and cost effectively, including:
- Dealing with all changes of tenancy, including mutual exchange and succession, conducting neighbourhood and scheme inspections
- Assisting with and delivering community initiatives
- Developing local communication and providing information to customers
- Ensuring all issues that arise on the neighbourhood are resolved or where unable to resolve directly, signposting customers effectively and retaining ownership for resolving the issue
- Developing and strengthening local partnerships and fostering positive relationships with key local contacts including neighbourhood management structures
- Occasionally attend residents’ meetings
What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrate strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Experience of writing and presenting reports
- Working towards recognised housing qualification would be ideal but isn’t essential
- Experience of working in social housing would be ideal
