As part of our Safe Homes Team, you’ll support the Fire Safety Lead to provide our tenants with safe and well-maintained homes. This is an opportunity to learn from established professionals who will support your development while you gain an accredited qualification in Housing (CIH level 2 in Housing Practice) and a Fire Safety qualification in year 2, pending performance.

 

We’re looking for someone with an interest in Health and Safety, with a positive approach to work, passion, enthusiasm, and a drive to learn.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working in a customer-focussed environment and advising customers with fire safety guidance.
  • Ensuring fire safety legislative requirements are met.
  • Carrying out administrative duties including raising repairs, purchase orders, invoices, and email correspondence.
  • Completing Fire Risk Assessments and monitoring associated actions.
  • Taking part in meetings and travelling between our locations.

You don’t need any specific experience to be great in this role. It’s more important to have the right attitude. The kind of skills we look for are:

  • A positive approach to learning and self-development.
  • Good understanding of the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace and residential properties.
  • Great customer service and communications skills.
