Hot off the Press! ForHousing’s Annual Report 2021/22

We’re pleased to share the outcomes delivered together with you and our partners in this year’s ForHousing Annual Report!

Putting you at the heart of everything we do was a key part in developing the Annual Report. This year, we involved a selection of tenants, including our Customer Committee, right from the planning stage of the report, to find out what you wanted – and didn’t want – to see.

From listening to you, we got some fantastic feedback and as a result we’ve made the following changes and improvements including:

  • A shorter, simpler report: We’ve created a much clearer and readable report this year with simpler facts, figures and easier-to-digest charts.
  • More about the issues that affect you: We’ve included more performance information including how many repairs were completed on time and updates on things like tackling damp and condensation and improving the energy efficiency of your homes.
  • More about you and people you might know :We’ve included stories from tenants, like Terry and Ann, who are benefiting from moving into supported accommodation, and Yousef, who’s grown in confidence since getting involved in his local youth club. This year, we also handed over the introduction to Carol Mawers, one of our former tenant Board members who might be a familiar face to those of you in Salford!
  • More about local communities: We’ve included examples of what’s happened in local communities over 2021/22, like the amazing Tall Tales artwork projection in Knowsley. We’ve also included more photos of projects in local areas like Fitton Hill Bulldogs who accessed community funding.
  • Showing how we’re listening and learning from the feedback we get from you: We’ve included more “you said, we did” examples like you wanted, and a whole section dedicated to working with you and how we learn from the complaints you make to improve services going forwards.

The report is full of outcomes delivered by working with you, local communities and our partners. Thank you for continuing to hold us to account and make a difference!
