There are so many young people making an important difference within our communities that may not get the recognition that they deserve! As part of the Be Proud Awards, the Young Person Award recognises all the hard work that the younger generations are doing to make their communities a better place.
The winner of the Young Person Award is Alfie Norman!
Alfie is the eldest child in his house and he has stepped up to help his single mum and his three sisters, despite only being 13 years old nothing is too much trouble for him to help out.
His mum has said that everyone needs an Alfie in their life and that she would be truly lost without him!
Next up we are sharing the winners of our final award category which is the Super Staff award. The award recognises those who have gone above and beyond in their line of work!
