The Bread and Butter Thing – helping residents of Ellesmere Port save on food shopping bills!
This is a project which helps redistribute food & everyday essentials at a fraction of the price to make life more affordable, reduce food waste & strengthen communities.
This is a great opportunity for anyone in the community that may be feeling the pinch from the rising cost of living. For £ 8.50 you will receive roughly £ 35 worth of food each week including fresh fruit and veg, chilled food for the fridge and cupboard staples.
The supplies are made up of foods from supermarkets, factories and farms which could be surplus for lots of reasons – sometimes there is a fault with packaging or there may just be too much of it for the supermarkets to handle. Why not give it a try and save approximately £ 20 on a weekly shop.
