Tenant Voice Strategy – Year one outcomes

Back in May 2020, we launched the Tenant Voice Strategy which was in response to the third principle of the Government’s Social Housing Green Paper, “empowering residents and ensuring their voices are heard so that landlords are help to account.’

The five-year strategy, 2020-25, sets out ForHousing’s aspirations to work together with tenants to change homes and communities for the better. The approach focuses on strengthening three specific areas: our relationship with tenants; tenant influence in decisions that affect them; and oversight arrangements that hold us to account.

We’re pleased to report our outcomes for the first year of this strategy in this report which details the progress we’ve made on our commitments and how we have strengthened the three areas. It also provides information on areas we can improve on and how we will continue to make a difference over thee next year.
