During the recent lock-down we have been providing services in new and different ways, so we can continue to have a positive and long-lasting impact on you and your community.
This has included having telephone and video meetings arranged in advance, and at a time that suits you, as well as regular phone calls out to people that need an extra helping hand.
As we plan for the future, we are looking at how we can improve the way we work with you, and most importantly how we can provide safe and effective services that benefit you and your community.
We’ve taken a look at how many people visited our offices before lock-down, and compared this with those getting in touch with us through social media, the app, our website and the service centre. Our research found that the number of people wanting to visit their local ForHousing office first is very low.
Whilst we review the way we work in the future, we are preparing for a new normal.
From September we will continue to bring services to you safely. Where local guidance allows, face to face appointments will also available at times and in places to suit you – either in your home or within the community.
We’re also developing our service centre applications, web chat and our app making it easier to contact us and request an appointment for a telephone, video or face to face appointment.
