Who we are and why we’re different

At ForHousing our inclusive culture is built on trust. We believe that diversity enriches our culture, both in the workplace and in communities. We bring people together in an environment where they feel safe to openly share, knowledge, experiences, opinions and ideas to improve lives of social housing tenants.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel able to be their true self – without fear of discrimination or prejudice. Everyone should feel safe in their communities and in their work.

You can find out more below as colleagues share their thoughts about what equity, diversity and inclusion means them.

For International Women’s Day, Jenny Neville and Gemma Burton-Connolly, from our Executive Management Team, hosted an event for colleagues and Donna Cezair, from the Board. The day involved some great discussions of how we drive inclusion at ForHousing, as well as colleagues making pledges for how to forge women’s equality. The event was incredibly open, positive and shows that ForHousing is an organisation that wants to keep improving and keep moving with the times.
