We are thrilled to share that yesterday we welcomed tenants into their new homes, as our latest development, White Lion reached completion.
The new homes comprise of 13 one-bedroom apartments, and 5 two-bedroom apartments, all for social rent. The scheme also includes private parking for the new tenants.
Supported by £1.3million of Homes England funding and £270,000 from the Brownfield Housing Fund, work began in 2024, and is now providing Swinton with the much needed boost of truly affordable social housing.
In partnership with developers Whitfield and Brown, and architects Bernard Taylor Partnerships LTD, the area has been transformed over the past months.
The positive impact the scheme has already had in Swinton, including creating local job opportunities during construction, is something we are really proud of. Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this exciting milestone!
