There are some truly amazing people within your communities, and we want to make sure that everyone is recognised for their achievements and contributions to making where you live a better, brighter place.
For the past five years we have celebrated and recognised the incredible community spirit shown through our Be Proud awards.
We’re excited to be running the Be Proud awards again so that we can spend the remainder of this year celebrating the inspirational people who are making a difference to where you live.
Community Impact Award
This award celebrates organisations, groups or initiatives that make a real difference in the local community.
Whether it’s a coffee morning, youth club, mental health project or another local initiative, this award recognises those who help strengthen communities and bring people together.
Community Champion Award
This award is your chance to nominate someone who makes a real difference in your community.
This could be a local volunteer, a helpful neighbour, someone who organises activities, or even a person who regularly litter-picks in your area. If they’ve made a positive difference where you live, we want to hear about them.
Please give examples of what they have done, particularly within the last twelve months, so we can help to share their stories and show your appreciation.

The winners will be announced on Monday 2nd November, and they will be celebrated at the ForHousing Involved Christmas party on Tuesday 15th December.
