Hi, I’m Kelly, and I manage our Supported Housing service. Our Supported Housing schemes provide a safe and secure home for people who need a bit of extra support to live independently.
We know that life can sometimes feel challenging. Whether someone needs support to manage their tenancy, access local services, improve their wellbeing or simply feel more confident living independently, we’re here to help.
Our role is to work alongside tenants, understand what matters to them and make sure they have the right support to live well in their home.
Over the past year, we’ve:
1
Provided 6,901 support sessions, helping tenants manage day-to-day challenges
2
Followed up 1,622 wellbeing alerts, helping identify concerns early and making sure tenants received support when they needed it
3
Delivered 163 activities, helping tenants stay connected, build confidence and reduce loneliness
4
Completed 832 weekly inspections to help keep homes and schemes safe
5
Carried out 832 fire safety checks to help protect tenants and their homes
6
Checked 939 emergency alarm systems to help ensure support was available quickly when needed
7
Made sure 94.9% of tenants had an annual review, so support continued to reflect what mattered to them
Alongside this, we’ve continued to provide welcoming communal spaces, regular wellbeing checks and support tailored to each tenant.
Together, this work helps tenants feel safer, more confident and better able to maintain their independence.
A big part of our role is helping people feel safe, confident and supported. By building strong relationships with tenants, we’re able to understand individual circumstances and provide support that makes a positive difference.
One tenant shared: “The service helps me feel safe, knowing I’ve always got support.”
This is the kind of difference our teams help make every day.
There is a lot to be proud of across our Supported Housing schemes.
By continuing to work closely with tenants and partners, we can help more people build confidence, overcome challenges and maintain their independence.
