Social Tenants Access to Information Requirement scheme (STAIRs)

STAIRS brings together the key priorities that help us deliver safe, well maintained homes and deliver customer focused, equitable and efficient services for our tenants, while meeting the expectations of the Regulator of Social Housing.

It reflects the standards we must meet under the Consumer Standards, including providing homes that are safe and well maintained, delivering quality services, listening to tenants and acting on their feedback. It also supports how we monitor and improve performance against the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) and demonstrate that we are well-governed, accountable and continuously improving.

Built around seven core themes, STAIRS makes this information clear and accessible, so tenants can see what matters most, how we are performing, and where we are improving. It is designed to provide a consistent and transparent view of our services and the standards you can expect from us.

Much of this information is already available, but STAIRS brings it together in one place. We have organised it using seven recognised categories, with links to the relevant pages and documents so you can explore more detail if you wish.

STAIRS helps us clearly demonstrate what we do, why it matters, and how we are delivering safe, high-quality homes and services in line with regulatory expectations.
