Skills Support for Employment
We work in partnership with The Manchester Growth Company and European Social Fund to deliver the Skills Support for Employment programme aiming to get people back into work, education or training.
Who is it for?
If you’re 25 years old or over and not in education, training or employment, we’ll give you tailored support to help you get on track, develop your skills and boost your confidence.
Can you help me with work experience?
Yes, you could complete a part-time eight week work experience placement in an area you’re interested in. With areas including business administration, construction, ICT, communications and marketing, customer service, enterprise and development, you’ll get the experience needed to springboard you into employment. We also offer a L1 Certificate in multi-trade construction activities if you’re interested in moving into the construction industry.
What type of support is available?
We offer friendly one to one tailored support and many people have moved into employment as a result, completing work experience and / or an accreditation.
Everyone’s journey is different. The programme tackles any barriers that might stop you from accessing support with more opportunities for education and training, improved health and wellbeing services, better financial help and new programmes to build your confidence.
