Is your home starting to feel bigger than you need, or is it becoming more difficult to manage? We’re here to help you explore options that could make everyday life easier and safer.
On Thursday 11 June, from 10am to 1:30pm at Barton Hub in Eccles, we’re hosting an informal drop-in session for ForHousing tenants who may be thinking about moving to a more suitable home.
On the day, you will be able to speak to a member of our team, who will be able to answer any questions that you may have.
Whether your current home feels too large, harder to keep up with, or no longer meets your needs, this is a chance to find out what support is available.
At the session, you can:
- Speak with a member of our team and ask any questions you may have
- Learn more about your housing options
- Find out what support is available if you decide to move
The event is free to attend, and all you need to do is register by clicking on the button below.
Moving to a home that better suits your needs can make a real difference. For some tenants, it can improve comfort, safety, and independence.
Elizabeth, an 82-year-old tenant, was recently supported to move from a home that had become far too big and difficult for her into a place that, with some changes, better suits her needs.
Elizabeth shared how much of an impact moving made for her:
“When I heard there was finally a bungalow for me, I was honestly over the moon. I’m really happy I can wash safely again and take a shower in comfort.”
If you’re considering your options, we’d love to see you there. The session is informal, and there’s no pressure or commitment to move, just friendly advice and support when you need it.
Register your attendance today by filling in this short form. If you have any questions about the event, please email rightsizing@forhousing.co.uk.
