Everything we do aims to positively impact the lives of our social housing tenants and deliver on what matters to them and their communities.  

We’re pleased to share our latest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report (2025/26), highlighting our progress over the past year and reaffirming our commitment to creating positive outcomes for tenants, communities and partners. 

The report sets out achievements across three key areas: environmental sustainability, social impact and strong governance, demonstrating how ForHousing is balancing long-term investment with a continued focus on delivering high-quality services. 

Over the next five years, we’ll invest £13.6 million in our homes to improve quality, increase energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. This will help us work towards our goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 while ensuring our homes meet the needs of current and future tenants. 

We’re committed to providing safe, well-maintained homes and services that are fair, efficient and customer-focused. 

Over the past year, we’ve strengthened tenant involvement by increasing scrutiny of key services, including Complaints, Damp and Mould, and Gas. We’ve also established dedicated groups, such as our Repairs and Maintenance Service Excellence Group and Tenant and Customer Reviewer Group, helping ensure tenant experiences directly shape service improvements. 

Strong governance helps us make transparent decisions, remain accountable and plan for the future. We’re continuing to strengthen our processes to ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for our tenants and communities. 

This report sets out what we’ve delivered, acknowledges where we can improve, and outlines how we’ll continue building a responsible and resilient organisation.
