£500,000 improvement works at Little Hulton District Centre

In collaboration with Salford City Council, we have started works to transform the central pedestrian square at the Little Hulton District Centre to create an improved and welcoming space for local residents to enjoy.

The project has been made possible through a £250,000 grant secured by Salford City Council from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, which we matched with an additional £250,000.

The improvements include enhanced landscaping, improved drainage, and upgrades to the design and layout of the pedestrianised square with Contor Limited leading as the project’s contractor.

Additionally, we will work with local community groups to explore opportunities for adding and maintaining new landscaped flower beds in the redesign.

Work on the project is already ongoing and is expected to be completed by March 2025.
