National Safeguarding Adults Week
This week we are supporting National Safeguarding Adults Week, because we believe that every adult should feel safe in and outside of their home.
Do you know what Safeguarding means?
It means protecting a person’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect.
We want to make sure that you feel safe and supported them in making choices and having control over how you live your life.
Neglect and abuse of adults can show in many different forms including:
· Modern Slavery
· Female Gender Mutilation
We know that it can be really difficult to talk openly about abuse.
We are committed to acting with care and making sure you feel as comfortable as possible when you tell us your story, so that we can help get you the support you need and deserve to live a happier life.
If you feel like you have been a victim of abuse or neglect, and would like to speak to a member of our team confidentially please get in touch with us on 0300 123 55 22 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get in contact with you soon.
There are lots of organisations across the UK who can support you, whatever you’re going through, to help you leave harmful and unsafe situations.
