Helping members of the Salford community gain invaluable employment skills

Posted: 21/07/2021

When we work together with partners in the local area, we really can make a huge positive difference!

We are proud to be working in partnership with Foundation 92, a charity working to improve the lives of Salford people through sport, to support 30 individuals with employment through the delivery of specialist mentoring and skill-based support classes.

Over a six-month period, the employability programme which is free of charge, will be tailored to suit the needs of those taking part in order to provide those individuals with the greatest chance of improving and thriving.

Head of Foundation 92 Tom Hutton said: “Foundation 92 would like to thank each partner who has contributed to this exciting and highly impactful project.

“Throughout the pandemic, many people have faced significant challenges associated with gaining employment.

“This programme will support individuals in a person-centred manner to develop the skills required to achieve their potential.”

We’re really looking forward to working with Foundation 92 on this important project that will support people in learning new skills and help them to achieve their own goals and ambitions.
