Colette McKune

Colette believes in a better way to do business. One that gives back, does great things and uses profits for good.

She is the driving force behind the Group's mission to challenge inequality and make a difference to people’s lives.

Awarded an MBE in 2015 for services to the community, Colette is a prominent equal rights campaigner.

She is passionate about ending homelessness and leads the Group’s strategic approach in this area.

An inspirational and charismatic leader, Colette has a wealth of experience setting up award-winning teams and strategic partnerships in the police, housing and private sector.

Group Chief Operating Officer

Mike Parkin

Mike is focused on delivering ForHousing’s business plan and driving efficiencies to deliver more for less. He is responsible for developing excellent services for customers across the Group by providing cutting edge ICT, as well as giving staff the best tools to perform their roles effectively and efficiently.

Mike joined ForHousing in August 2014 from North Wales Police where he worked as Director of Finance and Resource since 2007. He has worked in various roles in both the public and private sector including Wirral Metropolitan College and North Wales Newspapers. He currently sits on the board of Wirral based housing association, Magenta Living.

Mike’s significant experience is crucial in helping to develop ForHousing’s ambitious growth plans.

ForHousing Managing Director

Henry Terefenko

Henry Terefenko is passionate about reducing health inequalities and improving the economic and social sustainability of communities. In his role as ForHousing MD he is responsible for all aspects of tenant services, neighbourhood services, maximising income and also ensuring that services delivered on behalf of ForHousing operate effectively.

Henry is a highly regarded, innovative and experienced senior executive with a proven track record of delivering large scale corporate change. He has a wide ranging knowledge of the housing and construction sectors, having been the Commercial Director of construction company ForWorks before becoming Director of Operations at ForHousing in Ellesmere Port in 2017. More recently, Henry held the role of Group Director of Communities at ForViva.

Director of Neighbourhoods

Martyn Hague

Martyn is Director of Neighbourhoods services, helping to build vibrant, safe and diverse communities. This includes responsibility for teams covering neighbourhood and tenancy management; community safety; property management; allocations; supported and extra care; community development; tenant voice; caretaking and cleaning.

Known for his passion for empowering local communities and enabling possibilities Martyn has over 20 years’ housing experience in a variety of roles. He took up the post of Director of Neighbourhoods in 2018 and is highly regarded for his leadership skills and ambition to make sure tenants are at the heart of everything we do.

Keen to make sure that all tenants have a greater voice, Martyn recognises the importance of and works collaboratively with a range of partners to positively impact people’s lives.

Group Director of Homes

Nigel Sedman

Nigel has over 20 years’ experience working in social housing regeneration and has managed teams delivering a range of asset management services including responsive maintenance, gas servicing, compliance, specialist services, improvements and void work.

A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Nigel has also worked both for contractors and in private practice. At ForHousing, he has led on a number of major procurement exercises, the delivery of large investment programmes, asset management strategy, all compliance functions and is responsible for delivering the Group’s £180m Development programme of over 1,200 new properties across the North West.

He also sits on the Board of another local Housing Association and is committed to providing quality homes, meeting housing need and improving the lives of customers.

Group Director of Innovation & Excellence

Jenny Chapman

Jenny is passionate about working in partnership to bring about positive change that improves quality of life for individuals and communities. She has 28 years’ experience of working within the fields of Social Care, Health, Community Services, Education, Supported Housing and Regeneration.

Her experience spans statutory, voluntary and the independent sector, managing, driving and delivering high quality, person-centred services that meet and exceed regulatory requirements and strategic business objectives.

Jenny joined ForHousing in January 2017 and brings her experience of quality and service improvement to support ForHousing in demonstrating the changes made to health and wellbeing.

Jenny Neville

With over 17 years’ management experience, including 11 years as a board director, Jenny believes in creating a positive and highly motivating culture.

Passionate about people, Jenny adopts a collaborative leadership approach establishing common goals and strong performance management. She encourages, develops and recognises people and aims for continuous improvement.

With extensive commercial experience working across professional services and contracting organisations, Jenny has led significant growth and diversifications programmes.

She brings enthusiasm and passion to people and projects to make things happen. Jenny feels strongly about equal opportunities, unlocking and developing potential and, having a lasting and positive impact on peoples’ lives.
