Keeping you safe in your home – how we support you

Hi, I’m Mark. I work with our Community Safety and Neighbourhoods teams across your neighbourhoods.

Our role is to support you if you’re experiencing anti-social behaviour or have concerns about your safety — working with you to understand what’s happening and take action to help you feel safe in your home.

We know that when things like this happen, it can have a real impact on your day-to-day life. Feeling safe in your home really matters to us, and we’re here to support you, by working with partners, to make sure you continue to do so.

What we’ve been doing in your communities

Over the past year, our teams have been working across neighbourhoods to support tenants and help keep communities safe.

This has included:

Some of this you’ll see happening in your neighbourhood, and some happens in the background — including working closely with police, councils and other partners to tackle issues early.

How we can support you

We want you to feel safe in your home, and we’re here to help if something isn’t right.

Our Community Safety Team are specialists in supporting tenants experiencing anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse or hate behaviour. They will listen to you, take your concerns seriously, and work with you to find the right way forward.

They can help by:

  • Investigating any concerns or issues you’re experiencing
  • Working with partners like the Police or local council where needed
  • Providing additional support, such as Ring doorbells or safety measures
  • Keeping in regular contact with you so you know what’s happening
  • Helping gather evidence where needed to take action

Making a difference

A big part of our role is supporting you through difficult situations.

In Stockbridge Village, we worked with Merseyside Police to tackle serious and organised crime in local high-rise blocks. By working together and sharing information, this led to arrests and the removal of drugs and weapons — helping protect tenants and make the area safer.

In Little Hulton, we supported a tenant who was struggling to safely access their home due to ongoing issues. By working with other teams to make physical changes to the area, we helped resolve the problem — and there have been no further issues since.

These are just a few examples of the kind of work our teams are doing every day.
