There is now an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Committee. This is made up of ForHousing tenants and community members, who work together with the ForHousing Board to improve services and use their experience and knowledge to make positive changes to the tenant experience.
We are looking for people who:
- Can commit up to 2 days per month to support the work of the Committee
- Are comfortable with a Committee environment and understand the need to prepare for meetings
- Are willing to commit to develop your skills (Committee experience isn’t essential)
- Have the ability to work to timescales and make collective decisions in the best interests of ForHousing tenants and customers
- Have strong attention to detail
- Are skilled in listening, collaborating, and challenging constructively
- Have strong communication skills
- Are able to, or are willing to develop, the skills to analyse and understand performance, financial, risk and other technical information inform decision making (support is provided in these areas).
Because ForHousing is regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing, all Committee meetings have information packs that are sent out in advance of the meetings. This should not be a barrier to getting involved and we can work with you if you have any needs or requirements that would support you to access meetings, process or read this information.
