We're a busy team with lots to do in a changing environment, and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join us as a Scheme Coordinator based primarily in the Salford area. Your time will be spent supporting tenants to live independently in their own homes, with a focus on promoting good health and wellbeing. It’s not all about playing bingo and making cups of tea. You’ll be making a real difference to people’s lives by delivering quality housing related support to each tenant living in our sheltered accommodation.

You will have valuable interaction with customers daily. In this rewarding role you will carry out wellbeing plans and tenancy visits, review and monitor support and risk assessments to encourage customers to achieve their goals. Your role will be to help identify additional support and signpost these to partner agencies whilst encourage social activity and interaction.

You will also manage our buildings to ensure high quality standards and environments are maintained. You will complete regular health and safety checks, block inspections and equipment testing. You will also carry out initial assessments of applicants to establish their suitability for supported accommodation, completing the lettings process from start to finish.

We are looking for people who are committed to providing excellent services and have great customer service skills. Previous housing experience is not essential as we offer a full induction into the role.

You will need to be able to work well autonomously and productively as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to converse with a wide range of people are essential. Recording information on computers is a large part of this role; your skills must include a good level of computer literacy or a keen aptitude to learn. Multi-tasking is essential to this role, you must be able to prioritise tasks and organise your own time effectively.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to drive and have full access to a car for business purposes. As we provide a customer facing service working times are 9am to 5pm.You will be based at the scheme/s.
