ForHousing is a different kind of landlord, helping to improve lives by providing quality homes and places. We strive to be a positive influence in all we do, by providing the building blocks to a better life and making more things possible for more people.

We're a busy team with lots to do and we can only achieve this if we've got the right people with as much enthusiasm and passion as we have for making things happen.

Joining us as Energy Services and Support Advisor, you will assist with our objective of creating an internal hub of energy and sustainability expertise. You’ll assist with the provision of energy services, communal heating schemes, customer billing and advice and support to tenants to reduce energy costs and prevent fuel poverty, and with the delivery of ForHousing environmental management systems and associated environmental obligations including maintaining ISO 14001 accreditations.

Working collaboratively with staff, service providers and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of all services, you will monitor sector and industry changes, particularly in respect of good practice and regulatory change, and use customer feedback, customer surveys, monitoring results, complaints analysis and other engagement mechanisms, to monitor customer satisfaction.

Do you consider yourself to be a highly motivated, value driven individual who is committed to delivering excellent customer service? Do you have strong written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail? If so, we want to hear from you!

We’d like someone who has experience of process and service development in a similar role and who has knowledge of project management. You’ll need to understand the principles of good asset management and have knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and good practice. With good analytical skills, you will have the ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner and be competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A current driving licence and access to a car is also essential.

Experience of working within a social housing environment is desirable, as is knowledge of relevant housing legislation.

In return, we offer a wide range of benefits for a rewarding career including:

· Competitive salary and a generous holiday entitlement

· Health Shield membership to claim back costs on a range of health and wellness services

· Company pension scheme

· Childcare vouchers

· Wellbeing perks and discounts with attractive savings on everything from travel to shopping

· Comprehensive learning and development platform to enhance and develop your skills

If this sounds like the opportunity for you, take a look at the job description, fill out the application online and we’ll meet up (virtually) if we want to find out more.

ForHousing is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
