Joining us as Energy Services and Support Advisor, you will assist with our objective of creating an internal hub of energy and sustainability expertise. You’ll assist with the provision of energy services, communal heating schemes, customer billing and advice and support to tenants to reduce energy costs and prevent fuel poverty, and with the delivery of ForHousing environmental management systems and associated environmental obligations including maintaining ISO 14001 accreditations.

Working collaboratively with staff, service providers and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of all services, you will monitor sector and industry changes, particularly in respect of good practice and regulatory change, and use customer feedback, customer surveys, monitoring results, complaints analysis and other engagement mechanisms, to monitor customer satisfaction.

We’d like someone who has experience of process and service development in a similar role and who has knowledge of project management. You’ll need to understand the principles of good asset management and have knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and good practice. With good analytical skills, you will have the ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner and be competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A current driving licence and access to a car is also essential.

Experience of working within a social housing environment is desirable, as is knowledge of relevant housing legislation.
