We’re looking to recruit a Lettings Coordinator for our Private Rented Sector (PRS) to be responsible for providing an effective support function to the PRS Manager and the PRS Portfolio Managers in delivering a customer focussed PRS Management service.
Contributing to the provision of an intelligence-based housing service, by providing comprehensive advice and assistance to all PRS customers, inline with our policies, procedures and guidance, you’ll coordinate initial investigations into low level anti-social behaviour, including taking statements.
You’ll be responsible for engaging and assisting tenants who are experiencing financial hardship to enable them to successfully sustain their tenancy through intensive debt, welfare benefits and money advice. Ensuring the delivery of our income maximisation strategy, raising awareness and promoting products to support the financial well-being of our tenants, you’ll champion our response to welfare reform and benefit changes to ensure the impacts of these are effectively mitigated.
We’re looking for candidates who have a good education, holding GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English, with good written and verbal communications and numeracy skills. You’ll have worked within a customer focused environment, with the ability to establish effective and productive relationships, whilst been able to demonstrate a basic understanding of current social housing issues.
