We’re looking to recruit two Money Advisors to join us in Salford, with occasional travel to Knowsley.

 

You’ll be responsible for engaging and assisting tenants who are experiencing financial hardship to enable them to successfully sustain their tenancy through intensive debt, welfare benefits and money advice. Ensuring the delivery of our income maximisation strategy, raising awareness and promoting products to support the financial well-being of our tenants, you’ll champion our response to welfare reform and benefit changes to ensure the impacts of these are effectively mitigated.

 

We’re looking for candidates who a Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) qualification at a minimum with a Level 3 in Money and Debt advice (ACICM) or higher, with previous experience providing debt advice, financial inclusion and welfare benefits, working in a busy social housing environment. You’ll have an excellent rapport with public, internal teams and outside agencies, keeping abreast with any changes in legislation and regulations that affect the payment of Housing Benefit, Universal Credit and other benefits.
