ForHousing is a social purpose business that positively impacts communities by reinvesting profits, building vibrant and safe communities. We know that together we achieve more so we work with a range of like-minded partners to deliver positive change in communities and improve lives.

We now have two opportunities available for Key Workers to join us to deliver an effective and efficient support service to Motiv8 participants; engaging and supporting a wide range of vulnerable households and individuals with complex needs and encouraging participants to overcome barriers and improve life chances.

Proactively working with employers and the voluntary sector to increase the range and number of opportunities available for participants, including employment, apprenticeships, training and work experience placements, you will work with key partners to ensure that their contribution adds value to the Motiv8 service and liaise closely with Motiv8 keyworkers to ensure that employer requirements in terms of skills and employability match.

You must also develop and maintain detailed, specialist knowledge of local and national employers who operate in the Motiv8 service delivery area and provide ongoing service to the employer and participant, including post-employment support and reviews to ensure a quality service and sustainability.

With experience of delivering support services to participants with complex needs and of working on ESF Contracts, candidates must have proven experience of working with people in a support, advice, employability or housing setting including home visits, group work and interventions, and one to one based meetings.  Able to work within a performance management setting and meeting targets and of working across professional boundaries in multi-agency environments in partnership with key stakeholders, you must be able to work on own initiative and problem solve with minimum supervision and demonstrate good ICT skills.

You will be employed to work solely on the Motiv8 programme. Your position is funded by the European Union, through the European Social Fund (2014-2020) and the National Lottery Community Fund through the Building Better Opportunities Programme
