ForHousing is a forward-thinking social organisation that positively impacts communities. We’re also proud to create opportunities that make things happen – for people, families, homes and communities. We’re a busy team with lots to do. We can only achieve this if we’ve got the right resources so we look for people and partners with as much enthusiasm and passion as we have for making things happen.

Forfutures is a service within the Group, which has been set up to deliver the homeless support service in Cheshire West and Chester in partnership with the Council.  Forfutures is supporting those who are at risk of being homeless, those without secure accommodation and people sleeping rough.  Due to the development and growth of the service we currently have opportunities available for people to join the team as Peripatetic Support and Resettlement worker.

This is a great development opportunity for somebody who wants to work within a social care setting and to gain wide range of experience. We are looking for somebody with empathy, organised and has a willingness to learn. For this role you will have an understanding of the issues affecting Homeless Customers and excellent communication skills.  You will work collaboratively with colleagues, providing quality information, ensuring a positive Customer experience providing on site assurance and support.  You will be solution focus and have an ability to problem solve issues and incidents involving the customers.

For this role it would be beneficial if you hold an NVQ Level 2/3 in Social Care or equivalent but is not essential.  An understanding of the support needs and the issues facing our customers is essential for this role along with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

As well as a generous holiday entitlement, we offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including a pension scheme and staff discount club membership. We’ll also make sure you get the training and benefits you deserve.

ForHousing is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. We especially welcome applicants from the Armed Forces community.
