As part of our Neighbourhoods and Supported Living team, you’ll be responsible for the operational leadership of a person-focused service, providing support and direction for Extra Care Housing Assistants. You will focus on addressing the housing support and wellbeing needs of tenants living in extra care schemes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, undertaking audit activities, and completing annual tenant fire risk assessments.
  • Working from the designated extra care schemes and being operationally responsible for building management and service delivery.
  • Having management oversight of the voids, allocations, and lettings process.
  • Managing reports of anti-social behaviour and potential breaches of tenancy, working with local partners to sustain tenancies where possible.
  • Overseeing the completion and review of tenant wellbeing assessments, ensuring housing support needs are identified and referrals to external support agencies are completed.
  • Line-managing Extra Care Housing Assistants and being a point of escalation for any complex tenant-related issues.
  • Work in partnership with the care and catering provider onsite to meet contractual obligations and positive working relationships

 

What we’re looking for:

  • A level 3 housing qualification, or the willingness to work towards this.
  • Health and Social Care qualifications, and First Aid Training Certificates would be ideal.
  • Experience of working with people with care and support needs delivering person centred services.
  • Experience of managing staff and performance
