As part of our executive management team (EMT), you’ll provide sector leading company secretariat, governance and assurance services, ensuring our governance structure manages our regulated activities.

What you’ll be doing:
- Being the lead subject matter expert on relevant legislation and ensuring efficient administrative support is available to the Board and Committees.
- Ensuring compliance with legal obligations including data protection and formal record keeping and providing advice in line with this.
- Overseeing the delivery of Governance Strategy and promoting ongoing best practice.
- Acting as a key contact with the Regulator of Social Housing and any other external government or regulatory organisations.
- Ensuring we are appropriately insured, and insurable incidents are efficiently reported, and leading practice initiatives to correct and improve from lessons learned, providing value for money.
- Managing a team of colleagues responsible for delivering governance and assurance services, including Health and Safety, Risk, Legal, Assurance, and Internal Audit functions.
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive relevant experience at a senior level.
- Formal governance, legal, or risk training and qualifications.
