ForHousing is a social purpose business that positively impacts communities by reinvesting profits, building vibrant and safe communities. We know that together we achieve more so we work with a range of like-minded partners to deliver positive change in communities and improve lives.

Forfutures is a service which delivers the homeless support service in Cheshire West and Chester in partnership with the Council. Forfutures is supporting those who are at risk of being homeless, those without secure accommodation and people sleeping rough. To support Cheshire West & Chester Council deliver their support to guests arriving in the borough under the Homes for Ukraine scheme, the forfutures team is being expanded and we are looking for 5 passionate and enthusiastic persons to join our team as  Preventative Support Workers.

You will provide immediate and effective support to guests who are arriving into west Cheshire through the Ukraine sponsorship scheme, supporting customers to settle into their accommodation and  help them reach their individual outcomes with either longer term resettlement or returns home.

Ideally candidates will have undertaken relevant training relating to safeguarding and will have experience of providing support services within a social care setting (supported housing, care, nursing, residential). Experience of working with vulnerable adults, an understanding of the support needs and the issues facing our customers and a full UK driving licence would be beneficial for this role. Having links to Eastern Europe would be advantageous but not essential.

You will receive a competitive remuneration and generous benefits package, with the opportunity to choose additional flexible benefits including additional holiday and levels of healthcare. The roles are agile which means you have choice over where you work, whether that be in one of our collaboration spaces, in the community, a coffee shop or at home. This flexibility gives you the space to focus on balancing your work, your wellbeing and home life, as well as having a positive impact on the environment by travelling less. We welcome discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and ForHousing.
