We would love to work with you to listen to your opinions and feelings about our services to make positive changes based on your feedback. We always want to do better and with your help, we can put tenants, just like you, at the heart of our decision making.
Here’s how you can get involved, what you’ll be doing and what you can get in return for helping to positively impact the lives of yourself and other social housing tenants.
These locally based groups take place every three months in Fitton Hill, Salford and Stockbridge Village. If you become a member, you will be able to let us know the key things that are important to you and other tenants in your neighbourhoods, hold us to account for how we deliver our services, work with partners on local issues and make important decisions about funding applications for your community.
What will you be doing?
1
You will meet locally every three months where you will discuss topics, services and issues relating to your neighbourhood.
2
For example, you may notice an issue with fly-tipping or increased anti-social behaviour and you may bring this to the group where we will work together with partners such as the Police and Council to look at solutions.
3
Sometimes, you may also be invited to focus groups that last up to two hours to give your opinion on specific things, but these are optional.
What will you get in return?
1
You will be a voice for your community, and get satisfaction from seeing the positive changes from your feedback and your neighbours too
2
Personal and professional development opportunities
3
Your transport to meetings will be paid for
4
You could receive up to £15 per month to contribute to your internet costs
5
We also give vouchers of up to £50 per year to say thank you
6

You will be supporting us to make sure that we are learning from the complaints we receive and improving services as a result. You will work closely with our Customer Committee and ForHousing colleagues to identify issues and make sure we’re delivering what we promise.
What will you be doing?
1
You will meet every three months and you will be asked to work as a group to check complaints and make sure we’re handling them effectively, fairly and consistently.
2
You will also look at themes and trends, put actions in place with teams and make sure we’re delivering what we promise.
3
For example, a ForHousing colleague may bring to the meeting information on complaints for the past three months. It has been highlighted that there is as common complaint theme in our multi-trade repairs. You will then work with us to put together actions to make positive improvements to the repairs service.

You will play a key role in making sure our Customer Service Standards are met throughout the year. This is done by reviews you will do such as mystery shopping through the Customer Connect Hub, inspections of caretaking and cleaning within high-rise and low-rise flats, and inspections of grounds maintenance within neighbourhoods.
Inspections or reviews usually last one – two hours and you will be given a form to complete about your experience.

By joining our Scrutiny Team, you will look in detail at the services we deliver, what we do and why we do it and make recommendations to improve.
What will you be doing?
1
You will work with colleagues to develop a programme of service areas to be investigated and scrutinised by tenants. These are called Scrutiny exercises.
2
You will meet every three months and further meetings may be needed when an exercise is underway.
3
You will investigate different areas with support from colleagues, list key findings and make recommendations for improvements.

You can see examples of Scrutiny exercises that have taken place by clicking here.
