ForHousing has signed up to the LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge, led by HouseProud and delivered in partnership with Stonewall Housing, reinforcing our commitment to safe, inclusive homes and workplaces.
By joining the HouseProud Pledge Scheme, ForHousing is working towards Pledge Pioneer status, which recognises housing providers that take practical action to support LGBTQ+ tenants and colleagues.
A key part of this commitment is working with Rainbow Roofs, a HouseProud supported network for LGBTQ+ tenants across the North West. Rainbow Roofs brings people together to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ people’s experiences in housing, reduce isolation and influence positive change.
Our work is also supported by ForHousing’s LGBTQ+ Inclusion Network, which provides a welcoming and inclusive space for all colleagues to share experiences, build understanding and promote allyship across the organisation.
Together, these initiatives help ensure LGBTQ+ people’s voices are heard and respected, both in how we deliver services and how we support our colleagues.
