You might have seen that Cheshire West and Chester Council has approved an earlier end date for the ForHousing contract. This means services will transfer to a new provider, either the council or a specialist contractor, on 1 April 2026.
For now, everything continues as normal.
ForHousing is still here, continuing to provide housing services and support. There are no immediate changes to the way services are delivered, and you should keep reporting repairs, asking for help, and accessing tenancy services in the same way you always have.
Cheshire West and Chester Council and ForHousing will work together to manage the change and make sure services continue smoothly, with tenants at the heart of every decision. The council will keep you updated and share more information as the transition progresses.
