ForHousing’s repairs and maintenance services

Last year, guided by our tenants, ForHousing set a new strategic direction based on our vision to positively impact the lives of our social housing tenants.

As we embarked on the next phase of our journey, we reviewed how we operate focussing on our core mission of providing safe, well maintained homes and delivering customer focused, equitable and efficient services.

As part of this review, we explored options around the Liberty Group.  We are now pleased to confirm that Wates Group, the leading privately-owned construction, development and property services company in the UK have acquired Liberty.  Wates have a 4,500 strong workforce and over 10,000 supply-chain operatives and partners.

Wates brings substantial experience, knowledge and understanding of social housing repairs services and will help us deliver an improved service for all tenants.  We are excited about working with you as this this new strategic partnership with Wates develops.

For now, things will continue as normal. Over the next two to three months, we will be working with you and Wates to mobilise a new and improved repairs and maintenance service.
