There are some truly amazing people within your communities, and we want to make sure that everyone is recognised for their achievements and contributions to making where you live a better, brighter place. 

For the past three years we have celebrated and recognised the incredible community spirit shown through our Be Proud awards and we want this to be the biggest year yet. 

We’re excited to be running the Be Proud awards again so that we can spend the remainder of this year celeberating the inspirational people who are making a difference to where you live. The winners will be announced on social media and our website towards the end of October, so keep your eyes peeled. The winners will also be celebrated at the ForHousing Involved Tenants Christmas party on Wednesday December 4. Click here to make your nomination. 

This award celebrates a remarkable team that positively impact communities through their dedication. This award acknowledges their collaborative efforts, commitment and influence on improving and making a difference to their community.

This award celebrates an outstanding individual who has made contributions through their dedication, enthusiasm and hard work. This award recognises their achievements, positive impact and commitment to making a difference to their community.

This award celebrates an outstanding community project that has made a significant and lasting impact. This award recognises the initiative, collaboration and dedication that went into creating a project that enhances and strengthens communities.

This award celebrates individuals who make a meaningful difference through dedicating their time to helping and supporting others within communities. Volunteers are supportive, helpful and play a crucial role to making a difference to their community.

This award recognises an outstanding resident who goes above and beyond in fostering a sense of community. This tenant or resident demonstrates a positive influence, dedication and willingness to contribute to a strong sense of community. 

This award celebrates ForHousing colleagues who go above and beyond in their roles. Whether they work in front facing positions or behind the scenes. 

We want you to nominate your friends, family and neighbours who have made a huge difference to your wellbeing, so we can help to share their stories and show your appreciation. 

Each winner will receive a £40 One4All voucher and a certificate.  We will showcase all the runners-up, and everyone nominated will receive a special Be Proud certificate.   

Submissions will close on Monday 23 September, so make sure to submit your nominations before then! 

We can’t wait to share the amazing work that takes place in your communities, sharing the positivity and hear some great stories about community spirit.
