Policy consultation review with residents – results

We are guided by a range of policies that help to offer direction and focus on delivering a person-centred approach and create a positive impact.

As part of our commitment to involve you in shaping and influencing housing services, we engaged with a total of 715 residents in the review of a wide range of policies.

A total of 28 residents were involved in sharing their feedback through the different engagement opportunities which included:

• Pop up events in Neston, Ellesmere Port and Winsford;
• Facebook consultation – ForHousing in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Together with Tenants;
• Emails to residents with lived experience of a service process relating to specific policies;
• Workshops with residents from the Council Housing Management Board to review all feedback, policies and their changes, Consumer Standards as well as the Together with Tenants Charter.

A total of 132 recommendations were made by residents with 112 being approved and changes made to policies. To find out more about the changes, please click here.
