Think of it as a fast track to a job with us. It’s a list of ForHousing tenants who’ve already been interviewed and scored well for roles. When a job comes up, we’ll check the talent pool first:

Entry-level, admin, and apprentice roles: Only two or three high-scoring applicants will be considered for the role, with no further interviews required.

Specialist roles: some high-scoring applicants get interviews before anyone else, and you won’t need to apply again.

With normal advertising, we get 70 applications per role on average.
If you are in the talent pool you could be one of three considered for a role instead.

Your experience matters: We value lived experience as much as work experience. You already know our community, and we want our team to reflect that.

Interviews that focus on potential: No need to have done the job before – we look at your values, skills, and what you can do, not just what you’ve done.

Once you’re matched – you’ll be considered for suitable roles and training opportunities.

If you’re unsuccessful with your application, we will contact you to offer support through the application process and if required you will have access to training opportunities and workshops so when you are ready you can reapply to join the talent pool at the next intake.
