There are some truly amazing people within your communities, and we want to make sure that everyone is recognised for their achievements and contributions to making where you live a better, brighter place.   

For the past four years we have celebrated and recognised the incredible community spirit shown through our Be Proud awards. 

We’re excited to be running the Be Proud awards again so that we can spend the remainder of this year celebrating the inspirational people who are making a difference to where you live.

We want you to nominate a local volunteer, a social enterprise group that makes a difference, an unsung hero from a local activity club, or a coffee morning run by a beloved organisation – anything you can think of!  

Please give examples of what they have done, particularly within the last twelve months, so we can help to share their stories and show your appreciation.

This award celebrates ForHousing staff members who go above and beyond in their roles. Whether they work in front facing positions or behind the scenes. We want to hear from you how the staff member has supported you or gone above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service to you. It might be your local neighbourhood officer who has done a particularly good job doing all they can in your area this year, a member of the customer connect hub who really helped you with a difficult enquiry and delivered on their promises, or any other member of staff from any department that you think is deserving of an award!  Click on the button below to make your nomination.

The winners will be announced on Monday 10 November, and they will be celebrated at the ForHousing Involved Christmas party on Wednesday 10 December. 

We want you to nominate anyone who has made a huge difference to the community where they live, so we can help to share their stories and show your appreciation.  

Each winner will receive a £40 Housing Perks voucher and a certificate.
